Itinerary

Day 1: Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Your adventure begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 6:00 am. The drive to Mikumi National Park takes about 6 hours, with a stop in Morogoro for a hot lunch. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting afternoon and evening game drive, where you’ll be welcomed by herds of impalas, elephants, Masai giraffes, lions, wildebeests, buffaloes, and more. Afterward, enjoy dinner and overnight accommodations at Camp Bastian.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, then embark on a full-day game drive inside the park, packed lunch in hand. You’ll have the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. A stop at the picnic site for lunch will break up the day before continuing to the hippo and crocodile pools. In the evening, return to Camp Bastian for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mikumi to Dar es Salaam
After an early breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a final en-route game drive as you depart Mikumi National Park. You’ll arrive back in Dar es Salaam by the afternoon or evening, depending on the pace of your return.
