Day 1: Boat Trip to Rufiji River
Morning pickup at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8:00 am. Drive to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), a 4-hour journey with a lunch stop in Kibiti. Arrive in the late afternoon, check in at Selous Safari Lodge, and leave for an evening boat safari along the Rufiji River. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nyerere Game Drive
After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive inside Nyerere National Park. Encounter wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and hyenas. The park is also home to diverse birdlife and offers breathtaking landscapes, including wetlands, dry grasslands, and panoramic mountain views. Enjoy lunch and rest before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mikumi Game Drive
After breakfast, with packed lunches, drive to Mikumi National Park via Northern Selous, a 5-6 hour drive. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive. Spot zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, eland antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants. If you’re lucky, you may also spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Return to Bastian Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Mikumi Game Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives inside Mikumi National Park. Encounter lions, hartebeests, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, and elephants, along with other wildlife. Visit the hippo and crocodile pools and enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. Continue your game drive in the afternoon and return to Bastian Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
After breakfast and with packed lunches, depart for Ruaha National Park, a 5-hour drive through the countryside, passing scenic valleys and mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive. Spot wildlife such as kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, lions, hippos, hartebeests, and giraffes. Afterward, head to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ruaha Full-Day Game Drive

Enjoy the stunning views of the Ruaha River Valley. Take a break for lunch and continue your afternoon game drive before returning to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ruaha Half-Day Game Drive

Day 8: Mikumi to Dar es Salaam
