Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Arrive in Tanzania and meet your guide at your hotel in Moshi/Arusha. You’ll be driven to Tarangire National Park, with a scenic 4-5 hour journey via Arusha. Tarangire is known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. During your 4-5 hour game drive, you may also spot giraffes, antelopes, lions, and cheetahs. After lunch, beware of the cheeky vervet monkeys who are quick to snatch food! After the game drive, you’ll head to Haven Nature Safari Camp for dinner and your first night under the stars.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we begin the journey to Serengeti National Park, leaving at around 7:00 a.m. Along the way, you’ll pass by a traditional Maasai Boma, learning about the Maasai people’s way of life. Arriving at the Serengeti around noon, you’ll spend the afternoon exploring its vast plains, looking for the great wildebeest migration and other wildlife. After the game drive, enjoy the evening at your tented camp/lodge.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Today is a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. You’ll start early, venturing into the heart of the park where the incredible diversity of wildlife can be seen year-round. After your morning drive, return to camp for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Afterward, enjoy dinner and spend the evening surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Start the day early with another game drive in the Serengeti. The park is vast, so expect to see a wide range of animals including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even rare species. In the afternoon, take a break and enjoy lunch. Later, we’ll continue the game drive in the central Serengeti, known for its high concentration of big cats. Afterward, you’ll head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the new Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Descend into the crater, home to over 25,000 animals, including the Big 5. The stunning landscape and abundant wildlife make this one of the most incredible places for game viewing. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch, and then head back to the rim for an overnight stay at a nearby camp. The high altitude can make it quite cold, so pack appropriately.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, you’ll leave Ngorongoro Crater and travel to Lake Eyasi, a beautiful and secluded area. Lake Eyasi is home to the indigenous Hadza tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer groups in Tanzania. You’ll have the unique opportunity to interact with them, learn about their way of life, and even try hunting with them if you wish. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing evening at a nearby camp with a peaceful view of the lake.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park & Departure
On your final day, you’ll journey to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and beautiful birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. Spend the morning game viewing in the park before enjoying lunch. Afterward, begin the drive back to Moshi/Arusha or the airport for your onward flight, concluding your unforgettable 7-day safari.
