Day 1: Mikumi Game Drive
Pick up in the morning from your hotel or Dar es Salaam Airport, then drive to Mikumi National Park with a stop in Morogoro town for a hot lunch and a short break. After arriving at Mikumi, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive, where you’ll be welcomed by herds of elephants, giraffes, impalas, lions, buffaloes, and more. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 2: Ruaha Game Drive
After breakfast, depart from Mikumi and drive to Ruaha National Park, about 274 km away, passing through Iringa town. The scenic route takes you through beautiful valleys and mountains. Upon arrival at Ruaha, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive. Later, head to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ruaha Game Drive
Enjoy an early breakfast, then head to Ruaha National Park for another exciting game drive. Ruaha is a birdwatcher’s paradise, offering views of many bird species, some of which migrate from Europe. The famous Ruaha River, known for its large crocodile population, is also a highlight of the day. After a picnic lunch at a special spot, continue the game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ruaha Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives in Ruaha National Park with a packed lunch. This day offers ample opportunity to spot animals you may have missed in previous days. Enjoy a picnic lunch at around 1:00 pm before continuing your game drive in the park. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Ruaha to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, depart from Ruaha Hilltop Lodge with packed lunches and drive back to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive, spotting more of Mikumi’s rich wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 6: Depart to Dar es Salaam
