Your day begins at 7:30 AM with a hotel pick-up in Arusha, where your professional driver-guide will brief you on the day’s activities. By 8:30 AM, you’ll arrive at the park and start your game drive through its diverse habitats. You’ll have the chance to spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and several species of monkeys, including the rare black-and-white colobus.

Around 10:00 AM, you’ll have the option to take a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This gives you a unique opportunity to explore the park on foot and experience its flora and fauna up close—something not common in many other national parks.

By 12:30 PM, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s scenic picnic spots, often with breathtaking views of Mount Meru or the Momella Lakes. After lunch, your adventure continues with a visit to the Momella Lakes, famous for flamingos and other birdlife, followed by a drive to the forested Ngurdoto Crater, often referred to as “Little Ngorongoro” for its shape and wildlife.
